By unanimous vote, The new little one is now officially named and spent his first night home last evening. Over 100 texts and tweets and twixts and tweaks were exchanged between family members in the decision process but as I understand it, Donovan had the deciding vote!!!! It kind of felt like I was voting for the NBA All Star team or something like that!!! Anyway, little Lorenzo Mack Shipley is now named and ready to face the world.
Lorenzo is italian/spanish for Laurence. Since Shipley is 3 parts English-Shipley,Clay,Burke, and one part Dutch-Hornbeck, there must be some Italian on the Morris side of the family? But there was also some talk of one of the Prophets of the Church, Lorenzo Snow, so..... at any rate, it is a wonderful name and we are excited to meet Lorenzo at a very near future date.
